ALL GRADES:

UKULELE CONTEST
The Ukulele Contest has been postponed to September 17 , sorry for the inconvenience. We wanted to get more students to come out and participate in this first time event. Come on! all you talented ukulele-playing students! I know there are many out there but are afraid to participate. We want to encourage you to come out and sign up, not only for the prizes, but to give other students the opportunity to share their gift. We encourage all students to share their talents and ideas with us. If you have an idea or talent that you would like to share, come to the SAC office. Our goal is to get more student participation and involvement. We can discuss your ideas, and put them into action! Come sign up today! The deadline is Friday, Sept. 10. 4/5
INTERACT CLUB:
The NEW Due Date for Interact Club Registration and Fees is Tuesday August 7th. Any Student interested in joining the Interact Club, may pick up a registration form from Aunty Joan at the Counselor's office. Please see Aunty Joan if you have any questions about fees or projects. Thank you!! 2/3
CHEER SQUAD:
Anyone interested in joining the cheerleading team? We are looking for athletes who are ready to push themselves to the limit. Men and women who are competetive, humble and loves to be a warrior! If this sounds like you, well be having another tryouts on friday september 3rd at 3-6 pm at the tennis courts and saturday september 4 from 730-9 am in the gym! Dont forget u need you physical and parental consent form on file with the athletic trainers. 1/5

DISNEYLAND GRAD NITE
Are you interested in attending the BIGGEST GRAD NITE EVER! The Disneyland Grad Nite Coordinators will be at Kapa'a High School to give a presentation on the most exciting, the biggest, and best Grad nite ever! Seniors from all over the US will be attending this All Night Party at Disneyland. That's right! Disneyland closes down the park for one night just for YOU! The cost includes air, hotel, transportation and entrance to the amusement parks and attractions. Come to the informational meeting in the SAC room during lunch on Friday, Sept. 3. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, don't miss out! 4/5

This is it! Your Senior Year! It's time to order your CAP & GOWN ACCESSORIES! There will be an informational assembly for ALL SENIORS on TUESDAY, SEPT. 7 during 2nd PERIOD in the GYM . You will see a presentation from Jostens as well as get information about project grad and other important information you need to know this year that concerns you, and help you have a successful senior year! 4/5

FROM THE FRONT OFFICE...
CAFETERIA PURCHASES
The cafeteria will not be accepting verbal numbers. You need to have your ID present to pick up a meal. Please check with the Front Office or a cashier about your balance. If you have no money, your meal will have to be returned. If not, you will be reported to our police officer for theft.

STUDENT ID CARDS
Students without an ID card may purchase a replacement card for $5.00 at the Front Office during recess. New students and students who have not yet taken a picture during your freshman year here, may report to the Front Office on Wednesdays during morning recess. All students will be given a temporary meal pass until your ID card is ready.

BUS PASSES
Bus passes are ready for pick up at the Front Office. All applications received after August 12th will be issued a temporary until your bus pass is ready.

ALL GRADES:
STUDENTS NEEDING CREDIT RECOVERY:
The after school Current Global Affiairs class will begin September 7th. This class offers a 1/2 credit in Social Studies and will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-:15pm, through 1st Semester. The class in interesting, has no homework, and offers great travel and scholarship opportunities. See your counselor to sign-up. Class size is limited.

INTERACT CLUB:
Any student interested in The Kapaa High School Interact Club may pick up a Registration Form either from Pres. Alexsis Valdez, VP Michaelle Jae Cruz or Sec. Christen Wilson and Treas. Chas Okamoto.

Are you looking for something to do after school that will allow you to have fun, learn some life and job skills and earn money too? Well the About Face program offers you all of that and more. We meet twice a week on Tuesday & Thursday, Sept - Dec from 2:45 - 5:15. If you are interested go to the front office and fill out an application as soon as possible. Any questions, call Ms. Polly at 645-0202.
