Updates - Week of November 21st

Important that we remain informed as to the progress of our efforts as there are many good things happening. Attached "site" is available so that we remain informed with the current SLC school wide progress. Please take time to check it out as your awareness helps to crystalize the good things with members of our community. https://sites.google.com/site/khsslcworkspace/

Overall, the two major construction projects are moving along nicely.....
Softball field: Project completion date is December as the following finish type of jobs are to be addressed over the next couple of weeks.....restroom and scorer's booth doors, other interior finishes, parking stalls striping & tire stops, dugout benches, testing of the sewer pump system, field grassing needs to be finished, and the connection to the power grid.
Telecom Upgrades: Project has a ways to go for both elementary & high school campus. Contractor will be doing the major work during the non-school hours so to try minimizing disruptions.

With Thanksgiving nearing, want to share our sincerest "MAHALO" for your efforts in making that positive difference for our students. What we know for sure is that we should always be thankful daily. Whatever our roles, the daily responsibilities in supporting of our students is a continuous journey with varying experiences. Good days as well as challenging days, successful instructional lessons verses not so successful ones, smooth times as well as rough times, and it goes on. Still these experiences serve as stepping stones to the future that we are moving in that right direction and with that sense of purpose. Get some well deserved rest, enjoy time with friends and family and most importantly, be thankful for what we have!

Weekly Calendar:
Monday, Nov. 21st: Leadership meeting with SRS @Principal's Office 8:00 a.m.
Meeting with Mike Neubig - 8:30 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 24th: Holiday - Thanksgiving
