Congratulations to our Warrior JROTC Battalion! Great job on a very nice end of school year awards banquet on Saturday. Kudos for another memorable year of achievements, community service, and dedicated efforts. Special recognition to both Robert Levoit and Ian Verasammy for an outstanding year and their students always step it up another notch!

Juniors and Seniors:
Reminder: All students registered for the May 5th SAT Reasoning Test, please report to room A-13 (Mr. Oda's classroom) by 7:45 am. This test will take approximately 5 
hours to complete so it is important to start on time. You need to bring two #2 pencils, a calculator, your admission ticket and a picture ID. Please eat a good breakfast as 
you will be testing through lunch. You may bring a snack to eat during one of the breaks. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Keawe in the Counseling Office.

SPORTS:
Attention all student-athletes! The 2012-2013 Warrior Cheer team 
is looking for athletes with Warrior attitude, pride, determination and drive!
If your interested in becoming a 2012-2013 Kapa`a High Warrior Cheerleader
please join us at a Pre-tryout parent meeting on Wednesday May 2nd at 7pm at Locker Room.

If you want to be part of the 2012-13 Warrior Girls or Boys Bowling Teams, please stop by the office between May 1-18 to sign-up. Whether you're a long-time bowler or just starting out------all are welcome! We will have an informational meeting on Monday, May 21 @3:45p.m. and plan to practice through the summer. KAPA’A HIGH ALL: 
Aloha Teammates! Last weekend the Kapa`a High School Army JROTC competed in the Waianae Adventure Challenge (WAC) on Oahu. 24 schools competed representing the four major armed services with each school allowed to field 3 teams. Kapa`a High School placed 3rd overall and earned 7 team trophies. The separate trophies earned were for Female – 2nd place overall, 1stplace rope bridge, 2nd place water crossing/run, and 3rd place obstacle course; Male – 2nd tug of war, 2nd place obstacle course, and 3rd place water crossing/run.
The following cadets made up our WAC team: Male – Johnny Joel, Shiloh Begley, JJ Alonzo, Daniel Alonzo, and JR Quilos; Female – Kristel Guino, Jen Mata, Lucy Harper, and Shari Rabaino; Mixed – Brittney Ganiron, Wheeler Batol, Angelito Roslin, and Reggie Acoba.
Congratulations to the JROTC WAC team for representing themselves, their families, the JROTC program, and Kapa`a High School with great pride. Hooah!
