Lets ALL CONGRATULATE Chas Okamoto on his outstanding accomplishment in winning this year's state tennis tournament! As they say...game, set, match!!! We are very proud!

Let’s give a round applause to our following students who won in the HMSA team video award IIONA OLIVER, SHEIGH YAP, COUTRNEY BREDE, KIANA ANNUNZIATA and MADDY RAUSCH.

ALL:
The library will be closed for the year starting Wednesday, May 11th. Students and classes may come in to return library and textbooks. Seniors, don't forget to turn all books in BEFORE or by May 19th.

HONOR OUR VETERANS AND MILITARY SERVICE MAN AND WOMEN SHOW THEM THAT WE CARE! “Sew A Lei For Memorial Day”

Here are the instructions:

BRING YOUR LEIS TO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, MAY 24 TO 1ST PD CLASS.
• The lei should be 24" in length and made of flowers/leaves that will keep for several days.
• Flower lei should be tied together to form a loop.
• Ti leaf leis need NOT be tied together
• NOTE: Paper leis and bouquets CANNOT BE ACCEPTED due to cemetery restrictions.

Call or email to sign up for a day to bring your classes in to check their textbooks back in. See available dates and periods in email sent last week.

STUDENTS:
Plants and Animals of Hawaii, Chinese, AP Art History, Trig, Ethnic Studies? These and many, many more courses are offered on-line for all public school students. If you are interested in taking a course online for next school year see your counselor soon they are filling up. A full list of course offerings is posted in B203 (Ms. Stuart’s Room).





Yearbook distribution will begin on Friday, May 13, 2011 in room D-103 during recess and lunch recess. Please clear any current obligations BEFORE then with the Account Clerk. Obligations include:
any missing textbooks,
missing or unreturned library books,
unpaid classroom lab fees or other classroom obligations,
or loaner shirts that have not been returned.
Distribution will continue until Wed. May 18.

SENIORS:
SENIORS: Please tell your friends and family that NO BANNERS are allowed on the Kapa'a BEach Park fence, per the County. The fence is in terrible condition and any banners that are put up will be taken down due to the poor condition of the fence. Thanks!!
