CONGRATULATIONS! A job well done to the Kapa’a High School JROTC cadets who participated in the Navy Team Challenge on October 28-30, 2011 held on Oahu. The team was led by Shiloh Begley, along with Christina Pico, Micah Nobriga-Ferris, Jameson Macadamia Justin Pasadava, Christian Purdue, and Carlos Solorio- Perez. The competition included a rope- bridge, 600 meter swim, 4 mile run up Kolekole Pass, PT test (push-ups, sit-ups, shuttle run, and standing long jump), tug of war, fireman carry and high crawl. With great pride they represented themselves, their families, and the JROTC program as well as the Kapa`a Warriors. “Warriors- Motivated, Educated, Down Right Dedicated. If you are not in your class and you do not have a pass, you are truant. Students leaving class early, students cruising and students leaving campus at any time between 7:45 am until 2:20 p,m (1:35 on Wed) without a pass from the office will be arrested for truancy. Please stay in your classes and on campus and have a pass if you need to leave class for any reason.
Winter Ball will be on Friday, Dec. 16 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm at the Kauai Beach Resort. More information will be coming soon!
Any student interested in attending the 7th Annual Hawaii Future Physicians Symposium, in Honolulu, on November 12th, may come to the Counselor's office for more information.
