ALL GRADES
HOMECOMING COURT NOMINATIONS
Nomination Forms for Homecoming Court are now available at the SAC room. Deadline to turn in forms is Friday, Sept. 10.

SCIENCE (SERVICE, MEDICINE & MATH (S2M2)
S2M2 (Science, Service, Medicine, and Mentoring) is a program that will welcome, stimulate, teach and assist you if you are interested in careers in science and medicine. It is free and runs over fall break at Kauai Veterans Center. This will look great on your college application and really give you a boost in your future pursuits. Interested students come by and get an application in B203 from Ms. Stuart.

BIG BROTHER / BIG SISTER
Do you like kids? Have compassion to be a friend? If this is you, you may want to consider becoming a big brother or big sister to a kid who is in need of a friend. The Big Brother and Big Sister Program will be having a presentation on Thursday, Sept. 9 during lunch in the SAC room. Snacks will be provided. Want to make a difference in a kid's life? All it takes is one day a week for an hour and a half! Make a difference today, and sign up to be a big brother or big sister.

CLUBS
INTERACT CLUB
The first meeting will be onThursday, Sept. 9th, in Mrs. Haneberg's Room H-90 at 12: 05!!!! We will be having a guest speaker from Big Brother's & Big Sister's Group.
Meet your President, officers and Asst Advisors. You may bring your lunch. See Aunty Joan at the counselor's office for Registration Forms and Leadership Conference Forms. Deadline to be in the Interact Club is Sept. 9.



HOSA CLUB
Are you interested in Health Careers? Do you want to learn how to do first aid and CPR or how to take blood pressure? Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club will be having an informational meeting on Monday September 13, 2010 in Ms. Kitamura's room during morning recess.

JAPANESE CLUB
Japanese Club's first meeting is RESCHEDULED to Friday, Sept. 10, lunch time in Ms. Wadahara's room D-203. Only paid members get to vote for officers. Club applications accepted 'till Friday (9/10).



ROBOTICS CLUB
The robotic club workshop will be open on Saturday Sept. 11 from 1 - 5. Bring food to share. We are also meeting after school on Monday, and on Tuesday. Club members need to come support the parent's night in the cafeteria from 4 PM until 8 PM. Sign up for the early crew who sets up the field and robots or the late crew that helps put the field and the robots away.

Also, if anyone in our Kapa`a High School Ohana knows any engineer or mechanic types we would welcome their participation, ideas, and/or mentorship.

COUNSELING DEPT's ANNUAL SENIOR CLASSROOM COLLEGE & CAREER PLANNING PRESENTATIONS
The Counselors have scheduled their Senior Class Presentations on College and Career Planning through the Senior Social Studies Classes. Seniors without a Senior Social Studies Class Should schedule themselves to sit in on one of the following presentations:

DISNEYLAND GRAD NITE
Are you interested in attending the BIGGEST GRAD NITE EVER! The Disneyland Grad Nite Coordinators will be at Kapa'a High School to give a presentation on the most exciting, the biggest, and best Grad nite ever! Seniors from all over the US will be attending this All Night Party at Disneyland. That's right! Disneyland closes down the park for one night just for YOU! The cost includes air, hotel, transportation and entrance to the amusement parks and attractions. Come to the informational meeting in the SAC room during lunch on Friday, Sept. 3. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, don't miss out!
