STUDENTS:
Students if you haven't received your GLO prize in December, it's not too late. Please come during Lunch Recess on Jan 4 - 6, 2012 in front of the counselors office to claim it.

Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores:
ASVAB Testing on Jan. 10th (Tuesday) in the Library at 7:50am. Sign up at the Counselor's office during lunch and recess. Results will be given on
Jan. 31st ( Tuesday) in the Library, 3rd through 4th period.

JUNIORS:
Any Junior interested in applying to the KIUC Youth Tour, there will be an informational meeting on Friday, January 6 from 12 noon to 12:15 in the library. The KIUC Youth Tour provides young adults with the opportunity to travel to our nations capital to experience how government functions, learn about the complexities of today's electric utility industry, meet and work with hundreds of their peers from throughout the United States, and visit monuments, government buildings, and cooperative related organizations. The applications will be distributed at the end of the meeting and it is due back to Mrs. Okamoto by 2:45 pm on Monday, January 9, 2012.. The school will select up to 5 students and submit the names along with the applications to KIUC by Tuesday, January 10, to participate in the interview process scheduled for the week of February 11. KIUC selects only 4 students islandwide to attend the 2012 Youth Tour. We have been fortunate to have had one Kapaa High School student selected each year for the past 7 years.
