Good morning. today is the first day of “National School Counseling Week.” Our focus for the week is “Be Brilliant.” This does not just mean brilliance in your schoolwork and the grades that you get. You also can be brilliant in how you treat people and the world you live in. It is not easy growing up in today’s world. Every day, distractions and other things can keep you from being brilliant — tough classes, peer pressure, friendship problems, depression, and more. My job is to help each of you reach your full potential and be successful. That’s what school counselors do: We help. Come by and talk to me soon.
Students and Faculty and Staff:
The student council will be selling Valentine Grams consisting of a variety of plush animals and heart-shaped balloons all this week during morning recess and lunch in the SAC room. The prices range from $1.00 - $5.00. Valentine Grams will be delivered to the student's class on Valentine's Day. You may send it anonymously or straight up, your choice. Come check us out, and give a gift to that someone special for Valentine's Day! Faculty and Staff are also welcome to purchase Valentine Grams.
Attention! The Kapaa High Earth Club will be selling roses for Valentine's Day to send to a lover, a friend, or anyone on school campus & it can be anonymous ! It's $3.50 per rose and delivery. You can buy roses between Thursday, February 2nd - Friday, February 10th in the SAC room during morning or lunch recess. Roses will be given out on Valentine's Day (February 14th) during first period. All money will go to Earth Club & Student Council to help with Prom. Thanks!

Meetings this week are Tuesday & Friday, lunch and after school in Mr. Cox's room B201. We will be doing a form check and presentation practice this week.
Students if you did not pick up your ice cream on Friday, 2/3 you can come by today, Monday during Lunch at the student center.
